Italian-Slovak Consortium for Energy Industry with the Embassy of the Slovak republic in Italy and in cooperation with Slovak Investment and Trade Development Agency (SARIO), on 31 May 2016 at the premises of the Embassy in Rome, organized a workshop entitled „Projects focused on energy, infrastructure and environment in Slovakia and Italy “, with the scope of presenting the possibilities of cooperation in construction, water and energy sectors of both countries and to enforce further the bilateral economic relations. Business seminar had been opened by the Ambassador Ján Šoth and Deputy Prime Minister of Slovak Republic Peter Pellegrini. Both had stressed the importance of creating such platforms in order to further develop mutual business relations. More than hundred participants, including the representatives from Slovak and Italian business enterprises from all relative sectors, Italian Industrial Confederation (Confindustria), Italian-Slovak Chamber of Commerce, EXIMBANKA and its Italian partner company SACE, were present at this seminar, which was divided into four specialized units – financial support and guaranties of bank subjects, infrastructure projects, water projects and energy and environmental projects. B2B meetings were held at the end of the workshop.
